Curt and I went to the VP Fair on Tuesday night. There was a huge crowd. We could see the Video screen of the band, Goo Goo Dolls, but we never even got close to the stage, which is at the bottom of the stairs next to the river. However, we were in a great place to see the fireworks and we good still hear the band just fine with all the additional speakers. The weather could not have been better, it was clear, and low 80's. People watching was fun too.Today for the 4th, we are going to have a nice little backyard grill and keep Tigger company when the neighborhood fireworks start. He really hates the booms!

Had a great time with my sweety! It is always fun to take in a free concert and fireworks. I love to see so many people taking advantage of free events under the arch/by the river. It's great that so many local companies provide sponsorship for these events.
